Sally Foster, age 49, of New Ulm passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Memorial service will be Friday, March 1, 2024 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor Timothy Anderson officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – SOUTH Chapel and will continue from 10:00 – 11:00 am at church on Friday.
Sally is survived by her husband, Doug Foster; children, Dinky Foster, Tyrell Sullivan and Douglas Foster Jr.; mother, Karen Beltz; her father, Steve (Rita) Beltz; sister, Sybil (Brad Jorgenson) Jennings; brother, Andy (Olivia Maldonado) Beltz; step-sister, Nicki (Jeremy) Serbus; step-brother, Kurt (Tatiana) Walden and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Gilbert and Anna Petermann, Harold Beltz, Vic and Dorothy Christensen; aunt and uncle, Kala and John Hannay; uncle, Pete Petermann and her niece, Jordan Jennings.
Sally Jo Beltz was born February 18, 1975 to Steve and Karen (Petermann) Beltz in New Ulm. Sally graduated from New Ulm High School in 1993 and South Central College where she obtained a degree in restaurant management. She was the manager at the Burger King in New Ulm before moving to Atlanta and working for Waffle House where she would meet her husband Doug. The couple moved back to New Ulm in 2012. Sally and Doug were united in marriage on May 22nd, 2014. Sally enjoyed music, dancing, camping and a good barbeque but most of all she loved to spend time with her family. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her. Blessed be her memory.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to help go towards the care of Jr.
