The 2022 Miss Sleepy Eye Royalty was crowned Saturday night (3/12) at the Sleepy Eye Event Center. Katelyn Rutscher, daughter of Susan and Steve Rutscher, was crowned queen. Presley Bauer, daughter of Ashley Braun and Robert Bauer, and Natalie Marti, daughter of Cindy and Dell Mari, were honored as Princesses.
Presley was recognized for selling the most tickets for the Miss Sleepy Eye Event and Natalie was awarded the Candidate Scholarship.
Shari Hittesdorf and Mike Suess were surprised with Honorary Commodore awards from the Minneapolis Aquatennial Ambassadors Organization for their work with the Sleepy Eye Holiday Lights in Motion.
