Former Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s girls basketball player Madison Mathiowetz help lead the #10 seed South Dakota State Jackrabbits to an upset win over #7 Oklahoma State in the opening round of the Women’s March Madness Tournament.
Mathiowetz (shown in a post by A’ja Wilson) hit some key free throws down the stretch to help secure the win. (See Stats below) SDSU now faces Paige Bueckers and the #2 seeded U Conn Huskies Monday night at 7 p.m. in Connecticut.
