Following the November 3 election, Wayne Pelzel will remain mayor for the city of Sleepy Eye while Scott Krzmarzick beat out incumbent Joann Schmidt. Christina Andres will be the new representative of Ward 2 replacing Larry Braun who chose not to re-run.
In the School board race, both Darla Remus and Joleen Dittbenner were re-elected. Write-in ballots (322 total) will determine the third board position.
