2017 Hall of Fame Inductees

The Board of Directors of the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame is pleased to announce that the following individuals have been selected to be inducted into the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame on Saturday September 16 at the Saint Cloud River’s Edge Convention Center, the home of the Hall of Fame.

Helget was a player for the Essig Bluejays, batting .311 with 902 hits in 800 career games in 28 seasons (1988-2015). In 904 innings pitched, He had 871 strikeouts and had a 2.96 career ERA.
As an umpire, Helget has worked numerous levels of baseball from high school to Division I in college.

Helget currently serves as the secretary and treasurer for the Tomahawk East League.
