On Sunday January 3, 2021 officers with the Sleepy Eye Police Department responded to a report of a burglary at Hardees, 320 Main Street West.
It was determined that sometime between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 am on the above date forced entry was made into the restaurant which was evident through the discovery of a broken window. The establishment was closed for business during the occurrence. In addition to the damaged window the establishment reported money missing.
Investigator Shawn Bohnen along with the Sleepy Eye Police Department continue to investigate the incident.
The amount reported stolen will not be disclosed at this time along with any other details as the investigation is still active.
