Craig A. Storm, MD, 65, passed away Thursday July 6th 2023, following a courageous, decade-long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. He was born April 9, 1958, to the late Herman & Sylvia (Ryan) Storm in Sleepy Eye, MN. He was raised on the family farm and attended local schools and was part of the horn section in the high school band.
In 1980 Craig graduated magna cum laude from St. Mary’s University in Winona, MN, with a BA in biology, then earned MDiv from Mount St. Mary’s Seminary 1984, also magna cum laude. In 1984 he was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in New Ulm, MN, where he was a teacher, a principal and a superintendent. He loved his students, teaching and coaching girls’ softball.
In 1992 he entered the University of Minnesota Medical School, graduating in 1996, following which he became a pathology resident at DHMC, in Lebanon, NH. In 2001 he went to the University of Pennsylvania to complete a dermatopathology fellowship, then returned to DHMC as a staff physician. During his career he received many awards for his dedication and accomplishments to the medical field. He belonged to many medical organizations.
He was married to Roberta L. Peck on Dec. 24, 2002. He loved his dogs, and enjoyed classical music and piloting his own plane.
He is survived by his wife Roberta Storm, stepdaughter Josette Blais and her husband Bob, a sister Alexis Brady and her husband Charles, two granddaughters Kailea & Shea Silvers.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 15, at the Hilton Garden Inn of Lebanon, NH, at 11am.
