According to a report by Sleepy Eye Economic Development Authority director Kurk Kramer, the sale of the former Del Monte facility to Chasing Our Tails has been cancelled.
Kramer said he received a phone call from Steve Trachtenberg, owner of Chasing Our Tails, stating his company has pulled out of the purchase agreement for the sale of the former Del Monte facility which is currently owned by Seneca Foods.
Trachtenberg told Kramer there are too many challenges with the financing which prompted the withdrawal. He added he still has interest if there would be some changes to making the acquisition possible.
