Cameron Jay Haugen was born February 10, 1954, in New Ulm to Raymond and Harriet (Vegum) Haugen. He was raised in Hanska where he attended grade school. Cameron was united in marriage to Gloria Strand in 1975. This union blessed the couple with their daughter Heather, but were later divorced. Cam lived nearly his entire life in Hanska. Early in his career, Cam worked for a local butcher, and later worked at Artstone in New Ulm until becoming fully disabled. When he was able, Cam enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time on the lake. Cam lived a quiet, passive life, but will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Blessed be his memory.
