Congratulations to Mikayla Bruggeman, Sleepy Eye Medical Center’s 2024 Employee of the Year! Mikayla was recognized during our employee holiday party on Saturday, January 4.
As SEMC’s Director of Marketing and Communications, Mikayla has been a vital member of our team for 10 years, earning respect and admiration from colleagues across the organization. Her work spans from communications and public relations to event coordination and community engagement. Mikayla’s efforts have helped shape how SEMC connects with patients, employees, and the broader community.
This year, Mikayla’s leadership was instrumental in the success of SEMC’s Spirit of Giving Gala. Her meticulous planning, attention to detail, and ability to lead under pressure ensured its seamless execution.
Beyond her daily responsibilities, she works to foster positive relationships within the community through her involvement in events–like the 2024 Pheasant Hunting Opener and other local initiatives.
