The 8th grade United States History students participated in the Patriot’s Pen Essay contest sponsored by Nagel-Radel VFW Post 1645 in New Ulm.
Winners: 4th place: Nolan Kucera [$25 prize], 3rd place: Jalen Brandl [$50 prize], 2nd place: Joslyn Sellner [$75 prize] and winner Cooper Walter [$100 prize].
Cooper’s essay will now compete at the district level.
