Waconia put an end to the Stark Longhorns season with a 5-1 win in the opening round of the Minnesota Class C State Amateur Tournament played in St. Cloud Friday.

This was the first appearance in the elite tournament since 1988 for the Longhorns who finish the season with a 13-18 record.
