You’re invited to an open house “Bonfire Sendoff Celebration” to be held for the Sleepy Eye United Track team girls who are advancing to State this Friday & Saturday. The “sendoff” will be held Thursday evening, June 7th, from 8 to 9:30 pm at the Tony & Lisa Schmitz farm located 3.5 miles east of Sleepy Eye on County Road 27. Those to be honored include the 4 x 100 m and the 4 x 200 m relay team members including Nikki Carr, Jamie Marti, Courtney Schmitt, Jessica Schmitz and alternates Rebecca Schmitz and Mariah Salfer. We would love to see you there! Remember to bring your lawnchairs!
