• An error late in the game led to the winning run scoring for St. Mary’s to help them secure a 2-1 win over Sleepy Eye Saturday 5/26 in the Section 2A playoffs. The loss ended the Indians season. The contest had been delayed several hours due to inclement weather including heavy rainfall.

This was a great game for the town ofSleepy Eye. We came up with a key hit with tow outs and then took advantage of errors. Congrats to Sleepy Eye on a great game to finish their season, they should be proud.
