  • They Greyhounds scored three unearned runs
  • Adam Sellner picked off of third base in the third inning that helped NUC get out of a jam
  •  The New Ulm Cathedral baseball team avenged a Section Championship football game loss to St. Mary’s by knocking the previously undefeated Knights team off in the second round of the Section 2A Baseball Playoffs. The Knights had upset the undefeated and defending state champs Greyhounds to advance to the state football tournament last November.

Coach’s Comments (Bruce Woitas)

We tip our hats to NUC. They came up with some big hits and keys hits and they took advantage of our mistakes. We had a great year and this is a disappointing end to our season.

We had eight seniors that did an excellent job of leading this team throughout the season. They will be missed
