A Minnesota root beer on tap at Twin Cities bars and restaurants is suing to keep an Oklahoma brewer’s similarly named wheat beer from accidentally ending up in front of customers.
A new federal lawsuit filed by New Ulm Brewing & Beverage Co., which contracts with August Schell Brewing Co. in New Ulm to make kegs of 1919 Classic American Draft Root Beer, accuses Krebs Brewing Co. Inc.’s 1919 Choc beer of trademark infringement and unfair competition.
