Superintendent John Cselovszki along with other some school board and staff members met with Dept. of Education commissioner Dr. Brenda Cassellius on Wed. April 25 at the state capitol. The purpose of the meeting was to further discuss the school’s request for a Four-Day School Week which Cassellius denied a week earlier.
The meeting resulted in Cassellius agreeing to reconsider her initial decision and give the school a fair evaluation.
Cassellius told those she met with face to face with that she was not a fan of the four-day week and that those schools approved in prior years were done by a different commissioner.
