The Minnesota State Patrol reported a 65-year old male was killed Tuesday morning on Hwy. 15 as the result of an accident. The male, identified as Daniel Hegler of Hanska, was a pedestrian who was walking southbound on the northbound side of Hwy 15 (near 170th Street) when he was struck by a northbound semi tractor trailer. The incident was reported at 9:15 a.m. Gene Walters, 61 of Hanska was the driver of the semi-truck.
