Five individuals were involved in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 14, near Coben Saturday afternoon.
A 2001 Ford Pick up, driven by Jose Leija of Springfield had slowed to make a right turn when a 1999 Chevrolet pickup, driven by Richard Groebner, 41 of Springfield, rear-ended the Leija vehicle.
Passengers in the Leija vehicle included Leticia Barron-Leija, 55 of Springfield, and Edgar Barron-Leija , 18 of Srpingfield. Leticia Barron-Leija had no apprent injuries while Jose Leija and Edgar Barron-Leija were transported by SE Ambulance to SE Medical Center where they was later released. Richard Groebner and his passenger, Benjamin Groebner 13, also had no apparent injuries.
Sleepy Eye and Springfield Police Departments assisted at the scene.
